Kill HB-165 because it is highly profitable for Joey Aiken if it is killed because the bill is a bipartisan effort to offer consumer protection! HMC is a "หœFull service community association management โ€ฆsince 1988...Reputation as the best in the businessโ€ฆTeam of experienced professionalsโ€ฆKnowledgeable staff possessing more than 200 years of combined experience.' You read this and think they are a seasoned team of immaculate experts. Here is the reality. HMC is made up of a team of inexperienced rank amateurs.

Look at this example of veteran Sam Hick's along with the owner Joey Aiken. The N.C. Legislature meets in 2010 to discuss new laws regarding HOAs with HMCs direct involvement in the discussion phase. Two employees were sent to this legal forum as stated in their Inaugural Newsletter. Here is the important thing that HMC reported: "หœThere appears to be no major push for dramatic changes to the law'. Wrong! Absolutely wrong Joey! You can't even predict whets brewing in your own profession. I am a lay person and could have told you the mood in this nation among homeowners was guaranteed this bill would pass no matter what efforts your firm made against it. HMC President Sam Hick's and his loyal law firm which he has exclusively sent hundreds of thousands of dollars in business were making their rounds all over N.C. Community meetings, half a dozen newspapers railing against this Bill. What a load of BS HMC presented in it next newsletter. HMC states that many customers called them voicing their concern and opposition to this bill. This is beyond believable. Pure deception. Sam Hick's was the sole voice of opposition to this Bill along with the law firm he employs for the countless liens and foreclosure actions. I don't see any other Management Company in N.C. screaming as loud as Sam Hicks. You lie saying customers called you voicing concerns (typical HMC corporate culture, lie, cheat, blame others and deceive). Just like you did with the Woodlands/Weddington HOA. Then HMC discussing how to keep pressure on Repressive to 'Kill this Bill'.

In their latest newsletter they simply make a casual statement that the bill was passed. They fought hard based on their own greed using customer residents as their useful idiots and pawns. It is a first step and one can assure HMC will be fighting their own customers every step of the way. Sam you made a major professional misjudgment. You also lied again.
