Written by Joann on July 16, 2011 from houston, texas, US My compaint would be that they claim Association Reps are industry Certified and a step above the rest, as compared to other local management companies. As far as I see, many of the Reps have no certification and I know a few of them don't even have ANY industry experience. I guess HMC just hires cheap labor and trains them and who cares if they do not know what they are doing. Or send the Certified and qualified people to the Assocations where they are making the best $$$. |

Written by HappyWithCedarManagement on March 2, 2011 from dallas, texas, US HappyWithCedarManagement We used to be with Hawthorne Management and switched to Cedar Management and the whole community is much happier. The difference is stark. Cedar is very personal service and they go out of their way to serve us as cusomters. Whereas Hawthorne we were just one of thousands they manage and were always arrogant and rude and like what the *** do you want now, deal with it we other things to do. ![]() |

Not happy with them either and others would prefer a fresh start in 2011. I don't think they ever drive through community to inspect for cov. violations as they are supposed to do. They pass it off on us even though we are paying for that and its in the management contract. I would rate them very low. You can never get a hold of anyone in their office either. |
